Halloween Weekend in Downtown Hannibal

October 27th through 31st

Halloween weekend in Hannibal is BIG this year! There's something for every age and a good, healthy scare for all. You don't want to miss the spookiest weekend of the year downtown!

Starting on Friday, October 27th is Ghouls Night Out from 5pm until who-knows-when. Enjoy special drinks and discount at participating downtown locations with a party pass cup. Our drink is going to be a BOOzy Float (get it?) for $3! Regularly priced at $6, enjoy a Henry's Orange Hard Soda over vanilla soft serve. Click here or visit us in store to pick up your party pass cup.

On Saturday, October 28th there is not one, but TWO Halloween Parades at 6:30pm. Our friends at the Hannibal Jaycees have taken over the Halloween Parade (YOU GUYS ROCK!) to go down Broadway and Main, and our friends at 2 Bestie Biscuits and the North East Missouri Humane Society have organized a Pet Parade and Costume Contest from the 400 block of Main to the 100 block of Main with the costume contest and judging on the stage in front of the boyhood home.

In addition to two parades, there is also Living DEAD Windows from 5 to 8pm. Because if two parades wasn't enough, spooky scenes coming to life, or death, in the downtown windows will really put you in the Halloween spirit! Downtown is going to be the PLACE TO BE on the night of Saturday, October 28th!

Since all this spookiness is going on, we will be dressing as living dead servers at the restaurant. We'll have zombie survival kits at the ready for anyone who needs some extra vaccine, water, etc. Our specials that day include a Haunted-Hand Burger, Graveyard Dirt Mousse Cup, Jack-O-Lantern Pancakes (from 7-11a), Monster Mash Hash (from 7-11a), Eyeball Taco Salad, Zombie Punch, and BOOzy Floats. Halloween themed movies will play on the big screen. We call it Breaking Bread with the Dead and you can stop in all day Saturday from 7a-10p to join the fun!

Our favorite event is on Halloween Night! There are over 50 businesses, individuals, and organizations signed up to pass out candy during Main Street Trick or Treat. I, Kenna, will be there for the Dinette passing out Cotton Candy as a unicorn. And because Jody, dad, can't get enough of being Santa for Christmas, is going to be Santa on Vacation (dad is volunteering - so he will be making sure every thing is going smoothly!) There are big trucks, pony rides, photo booths, Mark Twain, Tom and Beckys, and SO MUCH CANDY!!
