Our story

In February 2017, the Mark Twain Dinette celebrated its 75th Anniversary in Hannibal, MO. Opened by Mr. Pennewell on February 2nd, 1942 the original building was a pre-made, steel Valentine diner. The building has grown over the past 75 years but still at the same location of Hill and 3rd St serving their classic Maid-Rites, Tenderloins, Fried Chicken, famous Onion Rings, and homemade Root Beer.
